ODILON REDON

Odilon Redon (20 April 1840 – 6 July 1916) was a French symbolist painter, printmaker, draughtsman and pastellist. I see him as a pioneer of color driven compositions, forshadowing art superheros like Dali, Chagall and the psychedelic art of the 1960's. His self portrait is combined with works on colorful clouds and Joan of Arc.
